I have used it extensively for QR codes. Some problems are: 1. that there is no splash screen so the camera starts up immediately and is annoying 2. you need to hold the camera steady too long

Good things: simple to use and works great for QR codes. I haven't tried it too much for barcodes on groceries etc. I gave it a normal in peace of mind because some of the comments other users left were pretty negative which is unsettling. However, it works and does what it says it does. The other feature (sharing barcodes) seem pretty pointless.
